Saturday Night
Sorry for the mix up but for some reason, I cannot add to the other blog. So from now on, this will be the blog of the cruise.
The members of the group gathered for a bus ride to Regent Headquarters. Here we were served wine and snacks and a tour of the offices if you wanted. Bob took the tour and it was just a bunch of cubicles. But we finally got to meet Susan. She is the agent we use and have used her for about five years now and we finally meet.
Then we were bused to Miami Beach and dinner at the Yuca Restaurant. Dinner was pretty good but the mojito was better. I think I had too many but who was counting?
Sunday we got up early and headed to breakfast at the hotel. I just had a light breakfast as we were having lunch with the group in Compass Rose once we were on board. I was nervous about them getting our luggage as we had to leave it in the room while we took a bus to the pier.
Lunch was wonderful. We sat with Shawn from Regent plus three other couples and one single lady. Good food and wine and conversation. Our suites were not ready so we headed to the pool deck to wait and bumped into Sandy and Dana. Sandy and Dana were our next door neighbors on our last South America cruise. They are also our trivia partners for this cruise. Have not seen Noel and Tom yet.
I took a short nap on the balcony and the luggage arrived. Unpacked and then off to the Muster Drill. Now catching up with the blog.
Dinner will be in Compass Rose tonight. More on that tomorrow. We have two sea days before we reach Bermuda.
